SEXXXY 1
A low angle shot shows Sgt.Boorman leaning over Geel Piet
It show that Sgt.Boorman has all the power and authority over Geel Piet
It makes us feel sympathetic for Geel Piet
The director chose this shot to show the hatred that Sgt. Boorman had for the Africans
The combination of Sgt. Boorman and Geel Piet on the floor hurt after being kick over after eating poo
This shot relates to later on in the movie where Sgt.Boorman beat Geel Piet to death after Geel Piet told Sgt.Boorman what the words mean in the song at the concert
SEXXXY 2
In this scene they use low angle and close up shots effectively
For instance they used a low angle when PK pushed botha on the the flag
Its was funny because botha is the bully so it was funny to see him hurt
The director chose this shot to show the size difference between PK and botha
The combination of the silence and the loud thump of the music made it really effect of the viewer's emotion
This scene can be compared to a scene in harry potter when snape killed dumbledore in the tower
SEXXXY 3
In this scene they used a mid shot of PK
For example they use a mid shot of PK in the boxing ring
It showed us that PK is confident about his progress
I feel like the director chose this shot because it shows us that he is ready to fight more and win
This scene worked well with the roar of the people cheering for PK
This scene can be compared to when he is learning to box from Geel Piet
SEXXXY 4
In this scene they used a wide shot
We see this when PK is the conductor for the concert and Doc is on the piano
It shows that PK is ready to begin, Doc is waiting patiently of PK to start and that the tribes trust PK
The director chose this so we would be able to see PK, Doc and all of the tribes
This scene worked well with the music and singing coming from the piano and prisoners
This can be compared to later on in the movie when the elephant is running up to PK
